I have just completed going through the audio of investigation #134 that we did on 6/9/12. This is a small cemetery in Longs, SC. We tried some new equipment and were sufficiently impressed by the good folks buried there. They were very talkative and friendly. A few of them cursed, but that can be expected from soldiers. I have posted 2 EVPs that were particularly remarkable. The first one, is very different from any EVP we have ever heard before. It is a man and I believe he says the name “Virginia”. The EVP has an echo and it sounds like it is coming over a PA system. The second EVP is very moving. My wife is commenting about all the confederate graves and a voice whispers “remember”. Indeed we do remember. Two EVPs I cannot post. They contain the names of two people buried there. I ask the one fellow in the navy “what battle did he participate in”? I believe he responds “Iwo Jima”. I tried to confirm this through naval records, but could not. The other EVP I cannot post is a name given in response. This I could confirm. I love it when that happens! My wife asks “can you tell us your name”? The response is in fact the name of an individual buried there! I will remember that name in my prayers. What a contrast this small cemetery is to the “big time” ghost hunts and tours! Team Phasma prefers the small cemeteries and places off the beaten path and these locations never fail to impress. To the spirits of these places, Team Phasma says we hear you and we believe you have a voice!
